Oh my god! I didn't know there was such a good ramen shop on the outskirts of Durban! An authentic ramen shop owned by a Japanese madam. I am Japanese and it is probably the best in South Africa. The vegetable-based soup is highly recommended for vegans. Ramen noodles and gyoza crusts are homemade. It's a counter-only restaurant, but try it first.

Wow! A hidden gem for ramen lovers! The broth is rich, noodles are spot-on, everything is made infront of you and fresh and the owner is incredibly friendly, sharing insights about the dishes. The cozy, inviting atmosphere makes it even better. Highly recommend!

All I can say is WOW, finally we have found our favorite authentic Japanese restaurant and take away spot. The BEST dumplings we've ever had, we had 3 different fillings, chicken Ramen noodles was absolutely delicious. Officially our favorite favorite spot, so glad we found this awesome restaurant and the staff and owner Miko were so friendly. If you wanna eat a bowl of delicious, go check out the chicken Ramen noodles or the mouth watering dumplings. We will be back soon Miko, thank you for a wonderful dinner tonight. There's desserts as well and we had the chicken teriyaki rice balls......speechless after all this goodness, best Japanese restaurant situated in the Gilllitts area. Wonderful food and great people. Dumplings were so awesome we had to get some take aways for later and some fried chicken which was perfectly cooked and amazing Perfect place to some authentic Japanese food, chopsticks and chilly oil included , a truly awesome Hidden Gem, so thrilled , will be back soon. Some of the BEST ramen I’ve tasted! Mama Miko has plans to upgrade the outside seating area into a unique Japanese setting. Until then, I highly recommend supporting them for unique and very authentic Japanese flavours. Simply umami!! A hidden gem in the Upper Highway.

Awesome experience. First proper authentic Japanese dining experience in the province. Food is simply amazing and has that home cooked feel with extra love and care. Set up in a bar configuration just like in ramen restaurants in Japan where you can see your meal prepared right in front of you. Staff is amazing, very helpful and friendly, had a lovely chat with the owners while enjoying my meal. 5/5 can't wait to go again.

Brought my family here for dinner. Had an amazing time, very authentic Japanese Street food and aesthetic. The seating inside only accommodates about 6-7 people but it's a very fun experience. The rice bowls were very good as well as the dumplings and kaarage.

Ive been craving soup ramen from a very long time. I found this place the other day it was amazing. It felt like ir wqs sitting in Japanese restaurant that wasn't expensive nor require a reservation. We ordered prawn dumplings, teriyaki chicken onigiri, the buto pork bowl and the chicken broth ramen soup . I was so suprised. This place maybe new but i think that they make good food. The prawn dumplings had a burst of flavour and juiciness I've never had a dumpling like that. It was refreshing. The pork buto bowl was amazing. And the ramen soup bowl hit the spot. In addition they were fast and efficient that was the fastest an asian restaurant has ever served me. They were also really presentable and there was a good aesthetic. It might not be fany but it felt homely. I am definitely going back there. The staff was also friendly
